SEMA-Youth Program

Our youth empowerment program has conducted gender based violence awareness  training this year with over 20,000 scouts. Through the partnership with the Kenya Scouts Association, we have had training during the Rover Moot Competitions and other scout focused events.

As we closed the year, the team conducted an empowerment workshop in one of the largest slum areas in the world, Dandora in partnership with the Dandora Rehabilitation Group (DADREG). This workshop focused on equipping women and girls in the community with financial skills- a focus on economic empowerment as well as a training on Gender Based Violence and how to be change makers in their community.
